LOLLO ROSSA (LSL 029)

  • Lollo Rossa variety, with a large, heavy head, with an intense red colour (“double red”), very bright and attractive, and a very small green heart.
  • The bottom is neat, tight and with a very thin cut.
  • Very flexible and rustic variety suitable for transplanting all year round, both in greenhouses and in open fields.
  • High bolting resistance. Very tolerant to Tip-burn.
  • It is well suited for the formation of mixed boxes (red and green lollo), because it reaches a size very similar to the green-leaved variety.
  • Resistors:
    (HR)
     Bl 16, 21, 32.

Strengths compared to competitors:

  • Larger size.
  • More intense and bright red color, uniformity of color across the entire leaf surface.
  • Reduced presence of central green heart in winter.
  • Cultivation flexibility in all periods both in greenhouses and in open fields.
  • Greater resistance to bolting during summer transplants.
